The airport of Syros, located only 2 km from Ermoupolis, operates daily flights from/to Athens and the flight time is 30 min. Occasionally, there are also flights from/to Thessaloniki. There are no charter flights to Syros from European airports. Outside the airport of Syros, there are taxis to get you around the island. Moreover, many car rental companies have their base there. Head north on Akti Papagou toward Keas for 120 m, then continue straight onto Petrou Ralli for 40 m. Then you need to turn left onto El. Venizelou for the next 110 m & after that please turn right toward M. Merkouri for 68 m. Then on the same road turn left for 110 m. And you find Emmanouil Roidou – turn right Turn right toward Emmanouil Roidou & then left on the same street for70 m. Slight right to stay on Emmanouil Roidou for more 54 m & continue onto Ladopoulou street for 86 m. You find Mpampagiotou street & turn right onto that for the next 130 m, slight right onto Kassou for 32 m & turn right onto Kadmou for 17 m. Continue straight onto Diogenous & finally turn left onto Athinas and you have arrived at your destination
Please note that the path on foot has steps in some areas so if you carry heavy luggage then you may consider taking a taxi from the port. (ask us to arrange you a private transfer with a small charge)
